There are those who will tell you to keep your walls a neutral color so that a potential buyer will not be turned off. Others say tone the color down because you'll get tired of it, or you won't be able to match accessories. Then there are people who think, "It's my home, I'll do as I please!" A creative person with some sense of style can go nuts with color and come up with an interior design that can't help but make you smile.
The eleven interiors showcased in a list at Apartment Therapy aren't all this bright. Some are gentle pastels that you don't see every day, and others are unexpected combinations of pleasant colors that work. Seeing them will inspire you to do your own experiments with color, because you might just come up with a perfect room to be yourself in.
