Most of us would like to have a beautiful home with a well-thought-out design. IKEA has always been the go-to for ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances, and home accessories.
The Sweden-based company was established in 1943 by 17-year-old Ingvar Kamprad. IKEA operates 422 stores in more than 50 markets.
The Ikea Museum shares with us their catalogues from 1951 to 2021. For over seven decades, the catalogs were printed in Älmhult. Over time these grew in number, print, scope, and distribution. It started in 1950 when the founder wrote most of the text himself.
