Kiwi homeowner Rosie sold her house in Auckland and decided escape the city and move to the coastal town of Coromandel, New Zealand and built an one of a kind, off-the-grid house in a 23-acre lot in a forested preserve.
Rosie decided to build her house out of five 20-ft shipping containers, and used off-the-grid technologies such as solar power, rainwater collection and even a vermi-composting toilet.
