It’s unique!
An 84-year-old man has decided to finally give up the dream home he planned for quite some time. The maker, Ben Perrone, had the idea for this bizarre-looking triangle-shaped house in his head years ago. "When the possibility of building a new house came up, I reverted to the triangular idea — with the triangle being the strongest form," he shared.
After a stint in the army, Perrone decided to head into art school and began showcasing his work in exhibitions around Europe during the 1960s and 1970s. He also picked up woodcarving and graphic arts in the 1980s. These experiences shaped his work today, as he molds new sculptures and paintings, even this home.
When he was able to settle down, he had enough money to go big and build the house of his dreams. He started designing and building the triangular home in 2018 when he was 84 years old. The 2,000-square-foot home has one bedroom and three bathrooms. It is also covered in Perrone’s artworks. Learn more about the quirky house here.
