Beverly Hills, California, has its own witch house! The Spadena House was originally built as a movie set in 1920. A few years later it was salvaged and moved to its current location in Beverly Hills, where it became a family home.
Over the years, the house's reputation grew, and after the Green family bought it in 1965, it became a mecca for sightseers and for local kids on Halloween.
Real estate agent Michael J. Libow grew up trick-or-treating at the Spadena House and jumped at the chance to purchase it in 1998. He went to work renovating the interior to make it match the outside. Libow enlisted a variety of craftsmen and designers who usually work for the film industry to bring his fantasy interior to life.
Caleb Simpson was lucky enough to catch Libow with a few minutes to spare, and he graciously let Caleb look around inside and take some video.
