The Singing Real Estate Ad You've Been Waiting For

One sure way to get people talking about a house listing is to make a music video about it. Realtor Claire Cossey did just that for a home in Hockliffe village near Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, UK. As she walks through the house, she sings "The Never Ending Property," which is not literal, but a parody of the 1984 Limahl song "The Never Ending Story." Cossey, a former nightclub singer, has a pretty good voice, but the odd lyrics and the entire concept of a musical real estate ad made the video go viral

As for the house itself, it has five bedrooms and more than 2700 interior square feet. But the ceiling and doorways could be a problem for anyone approaching six feet tall. Watch the video again and you'll see things that will make you scratch your head each time, like the pool table against the wall, the TV attached to the foot of the bed, and the adjunct dog grooming business. The front door opening onto a major highway might give one pause as well.

Four months after the video dropped, the house is still for sale. Is it worth £700,000? Only a potential buyer familiar with British geography and real estate could make that assessment. -via Metafilter
