HUVUDROL, as the candle is called, is a limited-edition candle IKEA has worked on in partnership with creative agency Ogilvy that features the scent of their iconic Swedish meatballs. Aside from its unique aroma, the candle is also meant to serve as a reminder of the unique feeling of shopping in IKEA, viewing their large showrooms, and enjoying a plate of their world-famous Swedish meatballs.
Loyal customers may acquire the HUVUDROL candle by entering IKEA’s 10th Anniversary Family Sweepstakes, where they may be one of 900 lucky winners of what the company calls “a larger package filled with additional gifts that bring together the immersive sensory experience of visiting an IKEA store.”
