Zillow Gone Wild draws our attention to an unusual apartment for sale in Manhattan. At $7.5 million, it’s modestly priced by New York City standards (or so I’ve heard) and comes with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
The architeture is, um, unusual. Much of the it looks unfinished, what with the exposed timbers and pipes. One might think that the builders left before finishing the job. But, no, this is what you get for $7.5 million.
The oddest feature is one of the beds, which is suspended aloft above a lower floor. It would appear that if you get out of bed the wrong way, you’ll plummet down.
Over the edge of the bed is a waterfall, leading to a pool below. Perhaps the sound of the water would help lull the sleepers into deeper slumber.
